Meet your tour guide at the Gassy Jack Statue outside in the heart of Gastown, 15 minutes before your 3:00pm tour. You’ll get acquainted with your fun and friendly tour guide and small group of fellow food enthusiasts before setting off on a 3-hour walking food tour.

Before you know it, you'll be weaving through the cobblestone maze of Gastown, exploring picturesque alleyways, lesser-known architectural points, and learning Vancouver's history from your savvy tour guide. You'll do 5-10 minutes of casual walking between sitting down for plated dishes of Gastown's famous food and drink!

Over 3 hours, you'll skip the lines to indulge at 4 of Gastown's locally-owned restaurants for iconic dishes and boozy pairings that Vancouverites know and love. You'll savor Canadian classics like Tuc Craft Kitchen's pork belly crackling, tempura bacon scotch eggs, and parsnip fries, paired with local British Columbia wine.

This is progressive meal AND a historical walking tour of Gastown. Vicky was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. Her stories of the history of the area and the architure were fun to hear. The choices of restaurants were varied and she also pointed out other places that we might like to visit on our own.

Our guide Tracy was helpful, entertaining and very knowledgeable about this area of Vancouver. We greatly enjoyed the stops at several restaurants and experienced a wide variety of interesting dishes and local drinks. The historical information was also extremely interesting. Tracy's enthusiasm was infectious and I would recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in local food and history. My only tip would be for those who are arriving by car: once you have tried the various local beers, the wines and a cocktail, all included in the price, you will not be drunk but you will be over the limit for driving, so either use public transport or don't try everything on the tour!
