Dedicated to providing an ultimate agritourism experience, Vista D’oro Farms & Winery grows, heritage orchard fruits and vinifera grapes, all of which can be found in the Farmgate Shop & Tasting Room in some form – whether it's our winery's flagship 2008 D'oro - fortified walnut Wine, a Preservatory creation of Plum with Vanilla and Star anise Preserve, or our fresh grown fruit right off the tree.

Chaberton Estate Winery is truly a unique experience to visit. It overlooking the 55 - acre vineyard. In the tasting room enjoy tasting varietal wines from our full selection of 100% BC VQA red and white wines made from grapes grown locally in our Fraser Valley vineyard and specially selected vineyards from the South Okanagan and Similkameen Valleys.

The day was enjoyable. It could be improved by a guide who was more familiar with the wine region.

Seriously misleading description. This was not a scenic tour at all; there was nothing like the photo and we spent most of the time on highways. While our guide was excellent and did try to make the day interesting, there were a few concerning deficiencies. No water was provided, even at the wineries. In fact, when we asked, a winery manager told us they were saving the bottled water they had for the next tour and had nothing to sell us. The large car was comfortable but it was very difficult for those in the back seat to hear Steve's commentary. There were no nibbles or palate cleansers offered in most wineries, nor were the glasses changed as tasting progressed. However, the quality of the lunch was excellent. All considered, we don't think we can recommend this tour in its present form.

We visited 7 wineries. Our tour guide/driver was very good. My only complain is that some wineries did not offer any little snacks (crackers, etc) I do not drink if I do not eat something. I had to buy a box of crackers at the first place we stopped.

We assumed that our private "limo" tour would be in a limo with the back all to ourselves like most limos. Instead we had a white 1995 limo with blue leather bench seats with 4 seperate doors so my wife and I sat in the middle seat and our friends in the back and the driver directly in front of us like our dad driving us around. Not exactly what we had planned - when booking the trip I didn't think I had to ask if we would have a decent limo or not. This would be something you should disclose to your customers. We were hoping to be able to have a nice conversation and maybe share a glass of wine together but this was not possible with our friends directly behind us and the windows untinted.

It was a lovely sunny day and a great day out, Chuck was a great driver and new his stuff. The meal was about half way round the trip and the setting, location and food was excellent, the wine wasn't bad either.
