Check in 30 minutes prior to your flight departure time at the Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre, located centrally in downtown Vancouver's beautiful working harbour, Coal Harbour. Before taking flight, take part in a short safety briefing. Then, you’ll be ready for your 35-minute scenic flight to Victoria.

Departing from downtown Vancouver, you'll first fly out over the Georgia Strait, before catching the tiny village and anchorages of the beautiful Gulf Islands pass below. While in the air, look for Salt Spring Island below, Mount Baker in the distance, and the world famous Butchart Gardens. Just sit back and enjoy the views.

After landing in central downtown Victoria, in the Inner Harbour, take ground transportation out to The Butchart Gardens. Enjoy free time in Victoria, before returning on an evening flight back to downtown Vancouver.

We had just 3 days in Vancouver before our cruise and wanted to utilize our time the very best way possible and this day trip via the seaplane was absolutely perfect. When in the Pacific Northwest....travel the way the locals do.

Both flights were late- but flight over was flawless. Smooth take off and landing. Deplaned and didn’t know where to go to get bus to Victoria..no instruction. Flight on way back had two pilots which we later learned one was training. ROUGH landing. I’m just saying, for that kind of money- I want an expert flying the plane.

We had only one day to see Victoria and the Butchart Gardens, and 4.5 hours each way on the ferry was not going to allow us nearly enough time to enjoy. Harbor Air Seaplanes made it possible to do it all in a day. Their staff is super professional. The flights were a mere 35 minutes each way. While the morning trip to Victoria was rainy, the evening trip was clear and views were incredible!

My wife and I had an awesome experience. This was our first seaplane trip. The customer service was outstanding. They even offered coffee and pastries for all the customers. Visiting the Gardens was a stunning experience. They are the most beautiful Gardens that I have ever seen. A must see activity for anyone visiting Vancouver!

Flying by seaplane is the only way to go to Victoria for a day trip. Catch an early flight and get to Victoria with plenty of time to catch the bus to Butchart Gardens. You will have plenty of time at the gardens and then return to Victoria for sightseeing and on weekends plenty of entertainment. Be careful to note where the seaplane facility is located as it can be a bit confusing to locate if you are not familiar with the harbor in Vancouver

This was one of the HIGHLIGHTS of my trip to Vancouver - the seaplane flight to Victoria! What a great way to travel, quickly - why spend hours on a boat when you can get there in 45 minutes! It was awesome taking off on the water and then landing on the water and floating in to the docking area! Highly recommend!

Seaplane to Victoria is the only way to go. Loved it! Upon landing it was easy to find our land transport to take us to the butterfly farm - which is fantastic and really worth a visit -and then onto Butchart Gardens. This place is simply beautiful, no other words. Victoria itself is a charming place, and we thorougly enjoyed looking around there. It was a good independent tour and we highly recommend this!
