For us this was a non-event. Our guide from a previous tour referred us to an incorrect starting point and we missed the tour. Don't follow our example - double-check the departure information!

I went on this tour in honour of my dad, whose favourite film it is. I've seen the film many times, thanks Dad but my boyfriend had only seen 3/4 of it in prep for the trip. The tour was perfect for both of us. It was great to start at the iconic tunnel, and wonderful as it got dark in Vienna. The guide was very knowledgeable, inevitably as this is his family business, but we also learnt loads about the city itself. He was talkative and interested in his group too. The end surprise was lovely. Not quite a 5/5 as: - We were a group of 10, all English speaking apart from a Swiss-German couple we'd booked onto an English speaking tour. However, the guide started each time in German, before repeating it in English. I don't mind really, but after a while it was a bit annoying and obviously made it longer. - Would have been nice to have included a mulled wine in the tour - maybe at the end. We bought one at a Lions Club charity stall which was nice, but some refreshment at the end would have just finished it off perfectly. - There were no toilets at the end despite ending in a shop. We were directed to Starbucks round the corner who require a purchase before giving the code for the toilet. That being said, it was one of the highlights of our trip and I would recommend it to any fan of the Third Man.

Booked an English tour Friday 15th September at 4 pm. Disappointed to find I was joining a mainly German tour. The guide did her best but my concentration began to wane due to every sentence had to be repeated German then English. The guide said the tour would have to last more than 2hrs 30 mins which was far longer than I was lead to believe when I booked the tour. The information about The Third Man was very interesting but there was too much standing involved. I left after 1hr 20 mins
